This collector, based in the GTA, developed an appreciation for whiskey when his father introduced him to the spirit 20 years ago. He began his own collection which consists of a few hundred bottles and has acquired many unique ones on his travels. They were all purchase through the LCBO, SAQ and BC and Alberta liquor stores. Some have come straight from the distilleries, and all have been stored upright in a dark and temperature-controlled environment.
Cask 3223 Bottle 14. A rare and distinguished expression from the now-defunct Ladyburn distillery which closed in 1975. Distilled in 1973 and bottled in 2000, this Lowland single malt was matured in bourbon cask #3223 and bottled at a cask strength of 50.4% ABV. Only 3,000 bottles were produced, making it a coveted collector's item.
