Producer notes- St. Francis produces a diverse range of wines that have been highly awarded and met with acclaim. These include top wines like the Lagomarsino Cabernet Sauvignon and the Anthem Meritage blend, as well as a range of other single-vineyard wines. The Red and White Splash wines are St Francis' entry-level range. The vineyards' location throughout Sonoma means that St. Francis has a wealth of terroir to choose from. The Behler vineyard has gravel and loam soils and a cooling breeze from the Pacific coast, and is planted to Chardonnay and Merlot, which both do very well here. The Lagomarsino vineyard is situated on a hillside, with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon planted at the top where they get more sun, and Chardonnay at the bottom of the slope where it's cooler. Wild Oak vineyard is the most varietally diverse of the vineyards, with varieties like Malbec and Marsanne, as well as Cabernet and Chardonnay.
