The collector from Cambridge ON was interested in the spirits industry from a very young age. He was part of many whisky clubs since 1980 and attended professional tastings looking for the best scotches. The main focus of the collection has always been collecting an age statement whisky from every active distillery in Scotland and collecting as many silent still bottlings as possible. Most scotches were purchased from the LCBO and SAQ. The collection has always been stored in a temperature controlled cellar.
