All lots are located in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Confirmation of pickup or delivery of Iron Gate Commercial Auction winnings must be made within 30 days of auction close. Thereafter, your winnings will be subject to a $250 handling, administration and storage fee, including a subsequent $5.50/case/month and $1.50 per bottle fee for inventory services. If no contact has been made within two years, auction winnings will be considered abandoned.

It is the responsibility of the buyer to make all arrangements for insuring, packing and removing the property purchased and any assistance by the Auctioneer, or the employees of, agents or contractors in packing and removal shall be rendered as a courtesy and without any liability to them. A veteran collector of over 30 years, this consignor began his journey in the early 1990s while working at The Wine Establishment in Toronto. His collection was primarily sourced through the LCBO, MLCC, and the Chicago Wine Company, supplemented by a position on the Harlan Estate mailing list. Each bottle has been professionally maintained in a custom Genuwine Cellars home system, ensuring impeccable storage conditions since acquisition.
2003 Chateau Latour Grand Vin Pauillac from this lot has the following scores - The Wine Advocate 100 points, Falstaff Magazine 100 points, The Wine Independent 100 points. This is the tasting note for 2003 Chateau Latour Grand Vin Pauillac from Robert Parker - with a score of 100 points. 2003 was one of the hottest, earliest Bordeaux vintages ever. Some vines suffered from lack of moisture, but old vines and clay subsoil at Enclos saw this vineyard through. The Merlot harvest occurred between September 8 and 13, and the Cabernet Sauvignon was picked between September 22 and 30. The 2003 Latour is a blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot. Six percent of the press wine was added to the final blend. It has a medium to deep garnet-purple color, then wow—it explodes from the glass with bombastic black and blue fruits, followed up by meat, wood smoke, sandalwood and Indian spice accents with underlying floral wafts. The palate is full, rich, velvety, seductive and very long on the finish. There were only 10,800 cases made (rather than the normal 15,000-20,000).
