The score for 2008 Bouchard Pere Fils Le Corton Grand Cru is 95 points from Allen Meadows, The Burghound and the tasting note - Relatively generous but not dominant wood intrudes upon the very ripe plum, cassis and floral aromas lead to extremely rich, opulent and palate drenching broad-scaled flavors that possess more dry extract than any wine to this point and possibly in the entire range, all wrapped in a balanced, long and ultra serious finish. Note the suggested drinking window date and I'm not completely convinced that is necessarily long enough. *Don't Miss!* The score for 2006 Bouchard Pere Fils Le Corton Grand Cru is 93 points from Allen Meadows, The Burghound and the tasting note - A reserved and relatively cool nose of wild red berries, game, underbrush and crushed herbs introduces earthy, intense and impressively broad scaled and powerful flavors that are dense, balanced and vibrant and really stain the palate on the explosively long finish that is youthfully austere. A stunner that should age beautifully well. *Don't Miss!*
