The consignor’s passion for wine began during an extensive study of Australian wine regions, eventually leading him to establish his own import agency. While his expertise spans the globe, his personal collecting focus shifted toward Burgundy following the release of the 2002 vintage. All bottles in this collection were acquired through the LCBO and have been meticulously maintained in his custom home cellar, featuring dedicated temperature and humidity controls.
2007 Domaine Arnoux Lachaux Romanee St Vivant Grand Cru from this lot has the following scores - CellarTracker 95 points. This is the tasting note for 2007 Domaine Arnoux Lachaux Romanee St Vivant Grand Cru from Allen Meadows - In contrast to the wonderfully layered nose of the Suchots, here the profile runs more toward the floral side of the aromatic spectrum with intense violet and rose petal notes that are overtly spicy while displaying touch of crushed red berries, hoisin and soy, all of which can be found on the pure, refined, intense and energetic middle weight flavors that are precise, minerally and linear, all wrapped in an explosive finish that seems to go on and on. A Zen wine of perfect balance.
