2009 Bouchard Pere Fils Chevalier Montrachet Grand Cru from this lot has the following scores - Vinous 94 points, CellarTracker 93 points, BurgHound.com 92 points, Wine & Spirits Magazine 92 points. This is the tasting note for 2009 Bouchard Pere Fils Chevalier Montrachet Grand Cru from Allen Meadows - This has changed only slightly since I tasted it from barrel as there is still the discreet application of wood toast setting off a ripe, pure and elegant nose that features a penetrating mélange of wet stone, lemon and orange peel nuances as well as the classic floral aromas. The extremely rich, intense and full-bodied flavors possess surprisingly good detail given the opulence of the mid-palate and culminate in an agreeably long finish. For my taste this has largely arrived at its peak and while there it should easily continue to hold, it may begin to lose some of its vibrancy and as such, I would be drinking this over the next 5 to 10 years.
