All lots are located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Confirmation of pickup or delivery of Iron Gate Commercial Auction winnings must be made within 60 days of auction close. Thereafter, your winnings will be subject to storage fees, including a $75 setup, subsequent $5.00/case/month and $1.25 per bottle fee for inventory services. If no contact has been made within two years, auction winnings will be considered abandoned.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to make all arrangements for insuring, packing and removing the property purchased and any assistance by the Auctioneer, or the employees of, agents or contractors in packing and removal shall be rendered as a courtesy and without any liability to them. The Auctioneer shall not be liable for any errors or omissions or damage caused by packers and shippers, notwithstanding the fact that the Auctioneer may have recommended such shippers or packers to the purchaser.
A passionate Calgary collector of primarily US wine. All purchased on release and stored in a 600 bottle Vintage Keeper in his home. Wine is being sold as the collector is moving to Napa, CA and does not want the expense of bringing wine into the US.
Producer notes- Coche-Dury is a highly regarded producer based in Meursault, Burgundy. While they make some red wines from Pinot Noir, the house is famous for its highly collectible white wines made from Chardonnay. The Domaine was founded in 1973, following the marriage of Jean-François Coche and Odile Dury, although the Coche family has been making wine in Meursault for several generations. Now, as well as holdings in Meursault, the family have vineyards in Puligny-Montrachet, Auxey-Duresses, Monthelie, Volnay and in the Corton Grand Cru vineyard. Coche-Dury's only Grand Cru wine is the Corton-Charlemagne, but a handful of the domaine's other wines are of particular importance. Premier Cru wines from Meursault's Les Charmes and Les Perrières vineyards are among the most expensive wines from the Côte de Beaune, and the Coche-Dury Meursault is among the most sought-after. In total, the Coche-Dury holdings represent just over nine hectares (22 acres), about half of which are in Meursault itself.
