It offers a similarly alluring amalgam of rowan, honeysuckle, mint, maraschino, almond extract, and apricot to its non-V.T. counterpart, but with a more distilled concentration and enhanced (but positive) volatility. A glaze of honey joins marzipan on a creamier, fuller and marginally less lively and juicy palate, while hints of white pepper, radish and candied lime zest sizzlingly cling to this beauty’s prodigiously long, multi-layered finish. Irresistible today (unless you simply don’t like sweet Riesling), this is apt to reward those with some patience and through at least 2035.
