A consignor who has been drinking wine more seriously for the past 25 years and gaining knowledge through tastings. He is a drinker first and a collector second. All wine was bought at the SAQ, either in stores, or lotteries, and was stored in his cellar immediately after the purchase. He chooses wine based on producers more than appellation and firmly believes that wine is meant to be shared. It is his hope that these bottles make their way to like minded individuals.
The score for 2019 Domaine Armand Rousseau Chambertin Clos de Beze Grand Cru is 95-97 points from Robert Parker and the tasting note - Deeper-pitched and more carnal than the Chambertin, Rousseau's 2019 Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru mingles aromas of cherries, cassis and raspberries with hints of Asian spices, incense, smoked tea, rich soil tones and grilled duck. Full-bodied, sumptuous and enveloping, it's bright and lively, with a fleshy core of concentrated fruit, succulent acids and powdery structuring tannins. Long and perfumed, this is a sensual Clos de Bèze in the making.
