An Ontario based consignor whose interest in wines began at the National Golf Club of Canada, known for its exceptional collection. Occasionally, the club offers some of its vintage selections to members, which sparked his passion for collecting. He started by purchasing Burgundy and Bordeaux wines and gradually expanded his collection to include Italian and Californian wines. Most of his vintage bottles were sourced from the club and were stored at the Vintage Conservatory in Yorkville.

The rating for 2019 DRC Romanee St Vivant Grand Cru is 97 points from Robert Parker and the tasting note - The 2019 Romanée-St-Vivant Grand Cru wafts from the glass with breathtaking aromas of raspberries and strawberries mingled with bergamot, Indian spices, peonies and rose petals. Full-bodied, vibrant and perfumed, it's finer boned than the more muscular Grands-Échézeaux, with a bright spine of acidity and beautifully refined tannins, concluding with a long, penetrating finish. Striking for its purity and elegance, my handwritten notes include the phrase "pure sensuality."
