A Montreal based consignor who began collecting seriously 6 years ago when a good friend whose appreciation of wine led them to monthly tastings of rare and fine wine. She has been purchasing at a rate that will be difficult to consume and wanted to share some of their wines with others, through auction. All the bottles in this auction were sourced through the SAQ and have been stored in a eurocave or transtherm wine cooler.
Producer notes- Charles Lachaux is none other than the Côte de Nuits winemaker to bet on currently. Only thirty years old, he is already widely followed by professional critics who particularly praise his work inspired by the methods of Lalou Bize-Leroy. For the record, Charles Lachaux is the sixth generation at the head of this family estate of around fifteen hectares located in Vosne-Romanée. Helped by his mother Florence, he carefully cultivates, using biodynamic methods, his vines located in the most beautiful Nuit appellations such as Echezeaux, Romanée-Saint-Vivant, Clos-de-Vougeot and Latricières-Chambertin. A plow horse works the soil in order to promote local life. Eager to produce local wines, he produces very beautiful wines with silky materials from whole harvests and short vattings. Don't wait to look into this rising star- victims of their success, the wines are now difficult to find!
