Crown Royal's most prestigious Whisky is distilled in a Coffey still and aged to distinction for three decades. This release is not your father’s whisky, and if you haven’t kept up with the label over the last decade or so — in particular, its excellent Royal Series — it is bound to surprise you with its refinement and sophistication. Four-fifths of the grain that went into this ultra-aged, rare whisky (rye, corn, and barley) was sourced from Manitoba and surrounding provinces. To produce the final blend, Crown's distillers used five different mash bills and twelve different distillation columns, and aged the result in barrels at their historic LaSalle distillery. The liquid is defined by a unique combination of bold flavor and velvety mouthfeel. Aromas of ripe pear, maple syrup, and spices greet you on the nose, giving way to flavors of orchard fruit and vanilla. Sweet and creamy on the finish, this stunning blend lingers with notes of oak and cinnamon.
