A consignor whose passion for single malt Scotch whisky was sparked in the 1980s through the An Quaich Society, a club where members gathered for monthly gourmet pairing dinners and shared a deep appreciation for fine spirits. Through the society’s organizer, who traveled to Scotland annually to arrange direct distillery shipments, he gained rare access to exceptional single malts that were otherwise unavailable through Canadian retail channels. Over the decades, his collection grew to more than 300 bottles, built through these direct society imports, ongoing acquisitions from the LCBO, and the purchase of another Toronto member’s private collection. Reflected in every bottle is a long history of camaraderie, discovery, and careful selection. The entire collection has been meticulously preserved, stored upright at stable household temperatures. Now downsizing, he offers these bottles to the next collector with the hope that they bring as much enjoyment as they did throughout his decades of collecting.
