Available payment options
All lots are located in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Confirmation of pickup or delivery of Iron Gate Commercial Auction winnings must be made within 60 days of auction close. Thereafter, your winnings will be subject to storage fees, including a $75 setup, subsequent $5.00/case/month and $1.25 per bottle fee for inventory services. If no contact has been made within two years, auction winnings will be considered abandoned.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to make all arrangements for insuring, packing and removing the property purchased and any assistance by the Auctioneer, or the employees of, agents or contractors in packing and removal shall be rendered as a courtesy and without any liability to them. The Auctioneer shall not be liable for any errors or omissions or damage caused by packers and shippers, notwithstanding the fact that the Auctioneer may have recommended such shippers or packers to the purchaser.
An Alberta-based collector who's interest became piqued in fine wine and spirits through the enjoyment of drinking quality products, understanding the investment potential of owning rare bottles, and sharing these with her children. She began collecting in 2016 and sourced 99% of her cellar directly through the AGLC, though there are some from world travelling. All spirits were stored upright in original cases under temperature-controlled conditions. The packaging and bottles came to Iron Gate in pristine and untouched condition.
The Midleton Very Rare 2015 is a blend from Ireland's Midleton distillery, part of an annual series introduced in 1984. Each release in this series uses carefully selected distillates, a practice maintained by master distillers Barry Crockett and Brian Nation. The 2015 version is a blend of single pot still and grain whiskeys matured for 12 to 25 years, which has been aged in both first fill and refill bourbon casks. This maturation process contributes to the character of the blend. Each bottle in the Very Rare series has an individual bottle number, emphasizing its exclusivity. This feature highlights the uniqueness of each vintage, reflecting the detailed attention given to each release. 40%ABV.
