All lots are located in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Confirmation of pickup or delivery of Iron Gate Commercial Auction winnings must be made within 60 days of auction close. Thereafter, your winnings will be subject to storage fees, including a $75 setup, subsequent $5.00/case/month and $1.25 per bottle fee for inventory services. If no contact has been made within two years, auction winnings will be considered abandoned.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to make all arrangements for insuring, packing and removing the property purchased and any assistance by the Auctioneer, or the employees of, agents or contractors in packing and removal shall be rendered as a courtesy and without any liability to them. A Quebec-based consignor, he developed an interest in wine after dining at Bistro Champlain and enjoying bottles from its iconic cellar. He has been collecting for the past 15 years, during which he primarily purchased bottles through the SAQ, though he also added to his collection while traveling or at auction. His wine collection was carefully stored in his home cellar, maintained at a consistent 12°C with humidity levels between 45-49%.
The rating for NV Pierre Peters Brut Blanc de Blancs Grande Reserve Grand Cru Champagne is 92+ points from Robert Parker and the tasting note - Based on the 2019 vintage and disgorged this year with four grams per liter dosage, Péters's NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Grande Réserve wafts from the glass with aromas of peaches, pastry cream, dried fruits, citrus oil and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, pillowy and vinous, it's racy and concentrated, with a chiseled profile and a long, saline finish. The fine base vintage marks this out as a particular success.
The rating for NV Pierre Peters Cuvee de Reserve Blanc de Blancs Champagne Grand Cru is 92 points from Robert Parker and the tasting note - Based on the 2019 vintage (which Péters declares the best of the decade) and disgorged this year, the NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Cuvée de Réserve bursts with aromas of crisp stone fruit, orange zest, freshly baked bread and beeswax. Medium-bodied, ample and pillowy, with a fleshy core of fruit, racy acids and a saline finish, it's animated by an attractive pinpoint mousse.
