Available payment options
All lots are located in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Confirmation of pickup or delivery of Iron Gate Commercial Auction winnings must be made within 60 days of auction close. Thereafter, your winnings will be subject to storage fees, including a $75 setup, subsequent $5.00/case/month and $1.25 per bottle fee for inventory services. If no contact has been made within two years, auction winnings will be considered abandoned.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to make all arrangements for insuring, packing and removing the property purchased and any assistance by the Auctioneer, or the employees of, agents or contractors in packing and removal shall be rendered as a courtesy and without any liability to them. The Auctioneer shall not be liable for any errors or omissions or damage caused by packers and shippers, notwithstanding the fact that the Auctioneer may have recommended such shippers or packers to the purchaser.
This collection, featuring a plethora of Champagne, comes from the cellar of a consignor in Toronto. All bottles have been stored in temperature and humidity - controlled conditions.
The rating for 2013 Darioush Darius II Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is 96 points from Robert Parker and the tasting note - Once again, the top wine in the vintage for Darioush is their 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Darius II. This is a stunner and compelling, a powerful, classic Cabernet Sauvignon with an opaque purple color and notes of incense, graphite, crème de cassis and blackberry. It is long and rich, with an extra dimension compared to the 2014 version. This wine is accessible now, but should be even better after 3-4 years of cellaring and last 25 or more years.
The rating for 2014 Darioush Darius II Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is 94 points from Robert Parker and the tasting note - The top cuvée, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Darius II is a serious wine, with a fragrant nose of graphite, blackberry, cassis and hints of toast and chocolate. Full-bodied, with an expansive, savory texture and a long, pure finish, it should drink nicely for at least another 15–20 years.
