A collector for over twenty years, the consignor transitioned from Bordeaux and Italian wines to a specialization in Burgundy and Rhône. His bottles were acquired exclusively through direct agent allocations, SAQ lotteries, and select retail releases. Immediately upon acquisition, all wines were moved to his custom subterranean cellar in a stable 1943 residence. The owner upgraded the space with professional racking and a cooling system to maintain a constant 10°C and optimal humidity. The collection has remained undisturbed in this dark, vibration-free environment until now.
