The score for2015 Domaine Denis Bachelet Cote de Nuits Villages is 90 from Robert Parker and this is the tasting note -The 2015 Côte de Nuits-Villages is very good, its lovely bouquet of cassis, cherries, plums, raw cocoa and rich soil introducing a rich, ample wine structured around fine-grained, chalky tannins, with a long, penetrating finish. The core of this cuvée derives from the lieu-dit Que de Hareng in Brochon, effectively a continuation of Gevrey-Chambertin Les Evocelles but only entitled to the Côte de Nuits-Villages classification. The score for2016 Domaine Denis Bachelet Cote de Nuits Villages is 90-92 from Robert Parker and this is the tasting note -The 2016 Côte de Nuits-Villages finished its malolactic fermenation earlier than its siblings this year, and so it was racked in June. It has a gorgeous and pure bouquet of dark berry fruit, a hint of soy and mineral, all beautifully defined. The palate is medium-bodied with more red fruit than the Bourgogne Pinot Noir but, again, silky smooth in texture with startling panache and focus on the finish. What a fabulous wine.
