1991 Opus One Napa Valley from this lot has the following scores - Decanter 97 points. This is the tasting note for 1991 Opus One Napa Valley from Robert Parker - Opus One's 1991 is a gorgeously rich, opaque ruby/purple-colored wine with a knock-out nose of smoke, cassis, vanilla, and a whiff of herbs and licorice. Full-bodied, with surprisingly supple, concentrated, chocolatey, cassis, and blackcurrant flavors that ooze across the palate, this voluptuously-textured example of Opus One is atypical in a vintage that produced so many backward wines. There is no question the wine possesses plenty of tannin, but it is admirably concealed by the copious quantities of concentrated fruit.. 1992 Opus One Napa Valley from this lot has the following scores - Decanter 95 points, Tom Cannavan 95 points. This is the tasting note for 1992 Opus One Napa Valley from Robert Parker - The 1992 Opus One, a blend of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Merlot, offers a beautiful dark ruby/purple color, a big, spicy nose of cassis, lead pencil, and smoky oak, round, full-bodied, broad, fat flavors crammed with black fruits, soft tannin, low acidity, and a fleshy, full-bodied finish. This rich wine confirms just how fine these wines have become since the 1990 vintage.. 1993 Opus One Napa Valley from this lot has the following scores - The Wine Independent 95 points, The Wine Advocate 93 points. 1990 Opus One Napa Valley from this lot has the following scores - Wine Spectator 96 points, Decanter 94 points.
