A consignor from BC who started collecting about 15 years ago after becoming interested in wine on his first trip to Italy. Since that first trip to Italy, he and his wife have travelled extensively throughout the world. He enjoys spirits and is constantly searching for and purchasing rare bottles on his travels. The bottles have been stored upright in a temperature-controlled environment.

Distilled in 1934, maturing for 73 years and bottled in 2007! The 1934 Comte de Lauvia Vintage Armagnac is a single vintage Armagnac bottled at 41.7% abv. Comte de Lauvia is a traditional Armagnac maker located in Gascony, Southwest France (Bas Armagnac Region). They use continuous stills to produce a more floral and fruity spirit. Aromas include hazelnuts, walnuts, dried fruits like oranges and apricots and vanilla. On the palate, notes include flavours of hazelnut, oak, old leather, and the subtle sweetness of caramel. Long, warm finish. Two barrels were set aside for the 1934 vintage with a note that said “bottle when ready".
